The architecture of the two houses is defined by contrasts. The concrete house is grand yet refined, with cantilevers that push the limits of the material. The smaller wooden house feels warmer and has a more massive character—truncated on one side and visually extended on the other. Together, they form a composition based on the interplay of materials, volumes, and the natural surroundings.

Two houses on a distinctive triangular site—one made of wood (CLT) and the other of concrete—interact with the natural context, the shape of the landscape, and each other. Access to the site is arranged at the meeting point of two lines of the triangle, while the third side opens toward the river, creating a unique setting for a visual and functional dialogue between architecture and the surrounding environment.

The building footprints are dictated by the site’s geometry and solar orientation. The main house hovers above the ground with its bedroom wing, while the guest house, as if detaching from the main structure, appears to take flight at a distance. This arrangement creates a sense of private seclusion and forms lush green courtyards that shape the garden and provide a scenic foreground for the panoramic windows.
