The natural landscape in Myammino allows for the creation of an architectural landmark using familiar elements of Karelian architecture. As a new structure, the pavilion will not contrast with existing buildings but rather highlight the historical architecture preserved in the villages.
The functional structure with stoves appears weightless and floating above the clearing due to its openness. The pavilion can serve as an organizing backdrop for various festivals held in the ethnographic complex.
We wanted to give visitors a sense of sacredness, tranquility, and shelter.
